About Sanatana Dhara
“सत्यं वद धर्मं चर”
“Sathyam Vade, Dharmam chara” ~ Taittiriya Upanishad
Sanatana Dhara is a research portal dedicated to the core concepts of Sanātana Dharma.
The work draws from primary Śāstra and from carefully studied discourses and translations across Vedānta, Yoga, Sāṃkhya, Tantra, and the Purāṇas. Key sources include the living oral traditions of scholars such as Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao and Avadhani Garikapati Narasimha Rao, together with the written works of Swami Venkatesananda, I.K. Taimni, Swami Prabhavananda, and the recorded teachings of Ramana Maharshi and others.
This is not a blog of personal opinions. It is not a platform for promoting any single teacher, institution, or modern movement. It contains no advertisements and no commercial offerings.
The sole purpose is to present the tatva — the essential message — of the texts with clarity, so that a serious reader can examine the sources and form a clearer understanding of the fundamental questions of existence, action, suffering, devotion, and knowledge.
The companion research journal at namahshivaya.net carries the deeper textual study of Rudra and Śiva across the Vedic layers.
May the words of the great beings bring clarity.
“Like the rhythmic dance of Nataraja allures the ganas, may the words of great beings bring solace and lure our minds and hearts to Iśvara and liberation”
